Storytelling Festival

The Remembering Minto project held the Community Storytelling Festival, involving Minto residents and hundreds of children and youth from local schools. Welcomed to Country by Uncle Ivan Wellington, along with a heartfelt story from the Sarah Redfern Public School Principal Cheryl McBride, the day brought people from Minto to Campbelltown Arts Centre, where young people performed a story of changing life in Minto through song and dance.
The day was a tribute to the Minto community and an opportunity to share, create and collect stories through song, dance, art, storytelling and multimedia.
