Our daughters have grown up and moved on
Jeff and I moved into Durban Way with our two daughters in 1981. We moved to Sarah Way in 1993.
Our girls attended Sarah Redfern and both went to Girls Brigade at Saint James, Minto, our local church. I found much consolation through the church and still do charity work for them.
My younger daughter played netball, whereas our older girl was a very good spectator. They both went to physical culture at the Grange. They had good times going to the school disco and lots of other activities in the area.
In later years the area changed for the worse. We didnt like leaving the girls unattended as there were too many weirdos in the area. The place started to go downhill. Nobody had any pride and the kids became unruly and undisciplined.
Our daughters have grown up and moved on, experiencing many of the things we did as they guide their own children to have happy fulfilled childhoods.
