SWYPE-HYPE Music CD

Subsoundz was produced by South West Youth Peer Education (SWYPE) with the participants of the 2005 SWYPE HYPE program. SWYPE provides a range of services and activities for marginalised young people in the South West. The SWYPE service works with young people from the ages of 12-24 from various cultural backgrounds, specialising in projects targeting Pacific youths. SWYPE provides education and training in the right environment to equip these young people with the tools they need to get their lives back on track. Other activities include cultural events and traditional pastimes such as wood carving, writing and recording popular music, hip hop dancing and organising guest speakers to give the young people role models and advice.
