WOW i cant belive how much Minto has changed. I
lived in the area for 23yrs and went to Sarah
Redfern along with all of my brothers and sister.
My mum moved from her house on Mortimer a few
years ago and i was shocked when driving through
one day that my house i grew up in was gone and
so was every other house. I hope that the DOH can
fix the area up and make it the good old
community it once was. How great is it to see Mr
Gavin and Mrs Young still at the school and doing
good things i am sure. I hope all of you still in
the Minto community are doing well and staying
safe.
Take Care to you all.

I lived i Minto for 12 years with my 4 children.
We moved there on the 4th of December lol and
moved out on the 4 of December 12 years later.
Alison I remember you and Kirste has a few times
mentioned you. I have been gone now for 3 years
and miss my frieds and my home in Durban way. I
keep in touch with 2 of my special neighbours.
Some people said Minto was a hell hole, they
didn’t know the people who lived there. I lost a
big family network and will never make anything
again like what I had there.
Thaks Bev for ringing me and getting me to get on
the site. I hope this site stays around for may
years to come.
