That’s nice of you to give us a chance on commenting the article. You helped me a lot in realizing how important this topic can be. Thanks for a great resume. I wish there were more writing services like your blog.
As I watch the landscape change I remember the
‘Salt of the Earth’ people I knew from Minto. I
never lived in Minto but I went to Sarah Redfern
High School and still play to this day for the
local soccer team with friends who also have a
great affinity with the area. My affections for
Minto run deeper than just knowing the area. As I
look back on my life I now realise that Minto had
such a marked influence in both my personal and
professional life. I feel that I owe a great debt
of gratitude to some of the people that I have met
in Minto and in some way they became my family. It
was a great honour to be part of the Remembering
Minto Project and I thank BAMN for the
opportunity. Yes, Minto will change and slowly but
surely new families will move in and make it their
own. It is now time for Minto to evolve into a
community for the future, one which will create a
new history, a new beginning. As the last of the
old houses are knocked down along with a rich
tapestry of life that we may never see again, we
will always ‘Remember Minto’.
